After the Rocky Mountain National Park we expected to get to Cheyenne around 8:30 pm, and indeed we did and found what we thought to be a good hotel behind a run down hotel. Jo and I looked at one another and both agreed that this was not the place for us, waste $80 or die. After establishing that all of the nice hotels were fully booked we decided to head back the 30 miles to Wellington, north of Denver, where Jo had noticed a nice hotel. We checked in at the hotel where we could have done so an hour earlier, oh well we live and learn.
Tomorrow is another day and its Custer State Park on the agenda.
