Up the mountain to Lakes Arrowhead and Big Bear.....

Well another  hitch, went to use SR 330 up to the lakes but found it close!!! Diversion via SR 18, very pleased as the twisting mountain road was great fun to drive up.

Lake Arrowhead  has changed a lot since we were last there, it now has an upper village, as nice as ever but in 2003 since the last time we were here was a fire that wiped out 1 million trees and all the buildings.
