We are staying just to west of Denver in a sub-district called Lakewood, looks very nice. Jo drove for the first stint, up and over the Wolf Creek Pass (10,000 + feet) to our refueling stop for car and us. As the drive was another big hike we shared the driving, 270 miles and 5 hours. We checked in the hotel around 3:15 right on schedule, so that we could catch up on a few things like getting a proper meal and some much needed laundry.
