We had about a 2 hour drive to get to North East entrance of the park, checked the notice board on the way up and yes said it was open. Thirteen miles later and 10,000 feet up we came across a 'Road Closed' barracade and it started to snow, all we could do was wind our way back down and go to the next entrance 150 miles away. Yellowstone was not going to happen today but we got some great scenic shots on the dead end mountain pass.
