Hmmm still in Arizona and miles to go, on to Pagosa Spring...

Well we need to be in Denver by tomorrow so that we can do the Rocky Mountain National Park, even bigger rocks. So we decided to pop into the worse McDonalds ever to grab a bite and book a hotel. Wanting to get well into Colorado before stopping we booked a hotel in Pagosa Springs, 220 miles and around about a 4 hour drive. We filled up across the road, cleaned the car of dust where we could put it in gear and nearly ran over an American Indian who rapped on the glass pretty much begging for gas money. Of course we said no and hit the road at around 6:30 so we should arrive at Pagosa Springs around 10:30.

As the miles rolled by and the sun started to set in dawned on us, hehe sorry about pun, that we will in fact arrive in Pagosa Springs at 11:30pm as Colorado is Mountain time and we were still on Pacific time doh!!!!! Oh well whats another hour.

You be impressed in me taking this one, going forward at 55 mph, camera facing backwards to take the pic, not bad I thought.
